Thanksgiving Baskets

Thanksgiving is a Holiday where we give thanks and feast on delicious food with family and friends. But this isn’t always the case for some of the families in our community. For some, the ability to pay for a Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings makes it a stressful Holiday. Many of our working families need a little help to provide food during this Holiday season.

Our annual Thanksgiving basket program is one of most enduring and welcome programs we offer. Every year, our program helps families in our community put a warm and nourishing meal on everyone’s table during Thanksgiving. Families living in Owasso and Collinsville that are in need of assistance are welcomed to sign up for the program during the last two weeks in October. Our Thanksgiving Baskets provides a food basket containing ingredients to prepare a full Thanksgiving meal for a family of four, eight or twelve with all the necessary canned and packaged food, trimmings and turkey. Our program gives families the opportunity to prepare and serve its own meal on this special Thanksgiving Holiday.
