What We Do

Food Assistance

Our food pantry assistance program helps families and individuals facing economic hardship. Childhood hunger and poor living conditions hamper a young person’s ability to learn and these children become more likely to suffer from poverty as adults. We focuson preventing hunger by meeting the urgent, short-term basic needs of families and individuals.

This service alleviates the immediate need of food until more permanent assistance or resources are located. Food bags given to families provide a 3-4 day supply of food for allindividuals in the household, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack items. Food pantry assistance is provided once every 90 days.
