Emergency Utility Service
Our emergency utility assistance program helps families and individuals facing economic hardship. We keep people safe in their homes. Our program focuses on meeting the urgent, short-term basic needs of families and individuals.
We focus on preventing the cut-off of essential utilities including electric, gas, and water for families with children and/or disabled adults to alleviate the negative impact that these situations bring to the most disadvantaged families. Emergency utility assistance is provided to households once every 12 months for each utility bill, assistance is limited to gas, water and electric.
